Here are some guidelines to help you get the most out of Look Forward as a subscriber:

Events

• Look Forward contains more than 4,000 future dated events that range from politics to celebrity appearances. Our listings can be viewed on a day, week or month basis, allowing users to plan ahead for story ideas and publicists to prevent event clashes.

By clicking on your preferred tab at the top of the Events listing page, you can see everything that is happening today or everything that is happening that month. If you think we are missing something or would like your own event to be added to the website, please email or call us on 02 8456 3222.

Look Forward Tag Search

• Each event that Look Forward's editorial team add to the website is categorised according to certain tags, allowing subscribers to search for content that is related to their interests. To search for events related to your particular area of interest, click on the relevant tag on the left of this page (e.g. 'celebrity' or 'media') and browse the list of results.

Some search results contain both past and future events, allowing subscribers to be alerted to pertinent past events (such as anniversaries) as well as upcoming activities.

Look Forward Search

• The Look Forward Search function is located in the top left hand corner of the website and allows subscribers to search for content by name, location or tag. To conduct a search, simply enter your query into the appropriate box i.e. Splendour in the Grass in Event Search; Adelaide in Location Search; or Speeches in Tag Search.
  

Search Our Site

• To search the entire Look Forward archive of past, present and future listings, simply enter your query into the Search Our Site bar in the top right hand corner of the website. Please be careful to include correct punctuation and capitals in your search, e.g. Sydney Writers' Festival, Barry O'Farrell.
  

Calendar

• Subscribers can use the interactive Calendar located on the right hand side of the website to search for upcoming listings. To see what's happening on any given day up to four years ahead, select the month and year in the drop down menu and then click on the relevant date in the calendar below. This will take you to a list of events occurring that day, which can then be viewed on a day, week or month basis, according to your preferences.
  

The two arrows located on the left and right side of the month and year drop down box allow you to scroll through the calendar without having to select specific dates. The months listed at the top of the calendar also allow you to quickly access what events are planned in the next three months, so you will never be unprepared.

Daily Newsletter

• With an average of 30 events listed for any given date, Look Forward emails a newsletter to all subscribers at 10:00am each day to alert them to pertinent and topical events occurring that day and the next, as determined by the editorial team. This allows users who may not have the time to log in to the website to still be aware of activities scheduled for the next two days.
  

Newsletters emailed on a Friday contain events which are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
